Transferred to Bedford

Long story short: had a crazy week running around and experiencing miracles

Funny stories:

after teaching Xixi, we said our next lesson we were going to watch a movie about Joseph smith and explain his life. She then questioned "is that one about the restoration?" Taken by surprise we said "yes!?; have you heard of it before?"  She then stated "in one of your pamphlets you gave me, it said there was a movie about it. I looked it up online and watched it; I was skeptical but after watching it I believe he was a prophet." Little to say Xixi is now teaching herself the Gospel

Cool stories: I saw the Royce's at the Hyde park chapel, I was walking into the theater and some one said. Look it's a massey, and I heard a long forgot name exclaimed "Benji!" It was nice seeing them

Short story long :

Starting off with Monday I just wasn't feeling good enough to write a letter, there was a lot of stuff going on that I had to cover. We usually play volley ball as a zone, but I hung out with Elder Chung who was practicing the organ and just rested and prayed for a while. It was a nice day

Tuesday elder draper and I went on an adventure to outer darkness....London south. We were hunting less actives, and we went finding all the way there. It was a really interesting day.

we found a park with our AP's name so we had to take a picture. This was a really sketchy neighborhood so we had to choose a reliable looking man that we could possibly out run if it came down to it. We then got lost but we knew that we could get help from one place and that was....

Another church. That's how you know we were really far out! We are allowed to go really far into London south because we have all the territory within the M25. We never got those less actives but we found some new people to teach.

Wednesday we went hard in the paint finding, to be honest I can not completely recollect what we did Wednesday.

Thursday elder Robertson and I went on exchange and we went hard in the paint finding less actives and finding along the way. We found some promising potential investigators, but it was just fun to go out and talk to people with elder Robertson in her out reaches of the area.

Friday was zone training meeting, so we did that and then help our usual basket ball night

Saturday we taught two Chinese students, they are so innocent. We met them and got to know them a bit. We then shared the Easter video which really invited the spirt, then we talked about prayer and Jesus Christ

we use this as a visual aid to help them understand prayer. How we pray and Jesus Christ takes our prayer up to god and sends his answer through the holy spirt. We explain it as a letter being sent through the post man (Jesus christ) to god, and he sends his messenger ( the Holy Spirit) to answer us through our feelings. We then read Galatians 5:22 on how to recognize the answer to our prayer. You then have them try out a prayer and they almost always get an answer. With them we taught the first 3 principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ ( faith, repentance, baptism), and explain that these help our prayers become more powerful because them the Lords messenger ( the Holy Spirit) will be with us always. Then we had them pray silently, and they were into it! You always ask them how they felt and Laura said she felt more confident and Josie who said a way long first prayer said that her faith was strengthened! ( Chinese people know almost nothing about faith and god so this was a huge step!). After that we had to come back and watch the Saturday morningsession of general conference (it started at 5pm). After words a guy named Ethan oaks walked up to me and said he wanted to take us to dinner with his dad. He has been back off his mission for 3 days

We went to a super posh polish restaurant

They were super charitable and we had good conversation. Sunday we watched general conference and one of our investigators, Xixi watched the Saturday after noon session (1-3pm) and the Sunday morningsession (5-7pm) at the chapel. She cried and said she wanted to be baptised. I had a baptismal interview on that day as well with a girl named Madelyn. She is a Chinese student and she studied the baptismal interview questions before the interview to be super prepared, the interview lasted 30 minutes and I wanted to pass her with the first question. She has a powerful testimony.

Monday we got a call in the morning that I will be transferred to Bedford and elder draper will be taking over Britannia. It was kind of sad but not that much, I didn't grow too close to many of the members. But I will miss the sociality with the missionaries. I never was to far away from the spiritual comfort of the chapel, And I will miss going into London south. we spent the day contacting less actives and knocking on their doors. We came back and I started to pack.

I loved Britannia and I learned a lot here, mostly to work harder when things get hard. I've never been so tired in my life.
